Data Lineage (if applicable). Please include versions (e.g., input and forcing data, models, and coupling modules; instrument measurements; surveys; sample collections; etc.)
1. Description of methods used for collection/generation of data:

https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-2020-160, in review, 2020.
2. Methods for processing the data: Most files have not been processed and are raw files. MRR files have been processed using with a noise removal algorithm from Maahn and Kollias (2012). This is described in the data paper.
Maahn, M., and Kollias, P.: Improved Micro Rain Radar snow measurements using Doppler spectra post-processing. Atmos. Meas. Tech., 5, 2661–2673,
https://doi.org/10.5194/amt-5-2661-2012, 2012.
3. Instrument- or software-specific information needed to interpret the data: Files are all csv, txt, or netcdf so basic programming package is required
4. Environmental/experimental conditions: Data were gathered over the course of an intensive field campaign in the Canadian Rockies from 26 April – 26 June, 2019. Data were gathered from three permanent field sites: i) Nipika Mountain Resort (50.61183889N 115.8008167W, 1087 m ASL), ii) Fortress Mountain Powerline (50.82423333N 115.1972167W, 2076 m ASL), and iii) Fortress Junction Service (50.785568N 115.160941W, 1580 m ASL). Partial data were also gathered on a temporary from the Biogeoscience Institute (51.026681N 115.034411W, 1418 m ASL), and Storm Mountain Lodge (51.25283667N 115.9988733W, 1723 m ASL).
