Abstract
Fishing quotas, licenses, and details of fish catch (species, weight, value) for four commercial fisheries. Data originate from commercial fishery records/surveys.
Purpose
Data are used for IMPC Theme B: Water Management Modelling, Coupling Human-driven and Natural Systems. The data contribute to IMPC subtheme B2: Developing a performance model for aquatic ecosystems based on hydro-ecologic metrics and environmental demands.
Plain Language Summary
Data provide a summary of commercial fishing data from the Saskatchewan Delta. Data from four commercial fisheries (Cumberland Lake and Saskatchewan River west to the Manitoba border, Suggi Lake, and Windy Lake) are provided from as early as 1928. Data include the number of fishing licenses, fish species, weight, and value for each year.
