Abstract
Field sampling is performed in August/September of every year from Tathlina Lake and/or Kakisa Lake. Some water chemistry parameters are measured in the field, while other water chemistry parameters are measured later from water samples taken. Sediment and aquatic macroinvertebrate samples are collected and analyzed later on specialized analytical instruments. Some fish measurement data is taken in the field, and then further data is acquired from lab analysis of various dissected tissue.
Purpose
This data was collected to investigate the drivers of variation in fish mercury concentrations between Kakisa and Tathlina Lakes, Northwest Territories.
