Abstract

This dataset provides a high-resolution (1 km), regridded reanalysis of daily total precipitation and daily mean 2 m air temperature for Guyana, spanning 1950–2024. The data were derived from ERA5-Land reanalysis, processed via Google Earth Engine (GEE), and regridded from their original ~9 km resolution using nearest-neighbour interpolation. The dataset has been documented, validated against in-situ observations from meteorological stations in Mabaruma, Georgetown, Timehri, New Amsterdam, and Lethem. Dataset is in NetCDF format.
