Abstract
The dataset, named Cornea-SELEX derived DNA aptamers for preparing spherical nucleic acids and cornea staining. Contains raw and processed data from UV-Vis spectra, and dissociation constant (Kd) of Cornea-S5 to HCECs calculated based on flow cytometry. Dataset Composition The dataset comprises 8 sheets in a .CSV file. The ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) spectral data were acquired using an Agilent 8453 UV–Visible Spectroscopy System. Microscopic images were obtained with an ECLIPSE Ti Series inverted microscope, and fluorescence images were collected using an X-Cite mini+ Compact LED Illumination System. The dissociation constant (Kd) values derived from flow cytometry were determined from fluorescence signals analyzed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer (Agilent Technologies). Data Collection and Processing Experiments were conducted between Nov 2024 and Nov 2025 at the Department of Chemistry, University of Waterloo, Raw data were processed using Origin 8.0 software (OriginLab, USA) and GraphPad Prism (GraphPad Software, USA). Data Format and Accessibility The dataset is provided in CSV format, accompanied by a README.txt file detailing the variable definitions, experimental setup, and data processing pipeline. Ethics and Compliance This study does not involve human or animal subjects. All data were generated in compliance with institutional research guidelines.
