Abstract
Data and model outputs needed to reproduce the findings of the study published in Communications Earth and Environment:

"Snowfall decrease in recent years undermines glacier health and meltwater resources in the Northwestern Pamirs". A. Jouberton, T. E. Shaw, E. Miles, M. Kneib, S. Fugger, P. Buri, M. McCarthy, A. Kayumov, H. Navruzshoev, A. Halimov, K. Kabutov, F. Homidov, F. Pellicciotti.

This repository includes the reconstructed meteorological forcing time-series at key locations in the Kyzylsu catchment, the model outputs and post-processing scripts to generate Figures 2-8, and in-situ observations collected from June 2021 to September 2023 which were used for the climate reanalysis downscaling (meteorological data) and model evaluation (snow depth, surface albedo, ablation measurements, stream water levels). New version released on November 8th, 2025.

A mistake in the measured wind speed at the pluviometer station was corrected. The files that were modified relative to the previous version are "Pluviostation_Kyzylsu_2021-06-28_2023-09-13.csv" and "Pluviostation_Kyzylsu_2021-06-28_2023-09-13.mat" in "InSitu-data". The wind speed in the previous version of the repository was overestimated by 70%, due to the wrong slope being used in the datalogger configuration to convert the propeller frequency of the Young wind monitor '01503-45 Alpine' into [m/s].
